Four things I doubt you know about me:
I love me some plugins; I've got 52 installed on this blog at the moment
I spent 12 years of my life working with photographers
My Fotolia.com subscription ended yesterday :( Goodbye awesome visuals.
I've had 6 different sliders on my homepage and 5 different galleries in the internal pages in the last year (not to mention I've been through a barrel more when hunting down the perfect photo plugin for past clients)
Something you probably do

Here's How I Get Blog Traffic
Blog Traffic

Whether or not it's important to work on getting blog traffic is based on your goals.
I've got two goals.
Increased readership and making money. (not to be mistaken with this blog's mission: To help other bloggers promote their blogs)
How do we achieve enough traffic to make money? How do we get more people to read our posts?

Organize Your Blog for Better Business
Going From Blog To Business? Get Organized!
As I mentioned in "Can you go from blog to business?" You need to realize your niche if you’re an established blog. This is not the same as picking a niche. Picking a niche is for people who are starting out.
Once you have an established blog, realizing your niche is understanding who your readers are, what you like posting about the most and reviewing your posts to prioritize the ones your readers engage with most and the ones that get the most

Klout - Bitchin or Something To Bitch About?
Now ya'll know me, I don't usually write about trending topics, but I've got Klout on the brain, so I figured, what the hell, I'll share too.
Klout on the Brain
In the past 3 days I've read 3 posts about Klout, an article about Klout's new enhancements/improvements and I've spent a bit of time on my Klout Dashboard.
I'm a big fan of Liz Strauss, her writing is impeccable and I've learned quite a bit from her. So, 3 days ago, when I read Liz' personal Klout Story, I started thinking do I

Why Bloggers Are Getting Their Asses Kicked By Niche Marketers
Bloggers Are Letting Niche Marketers Bury Them
